Aimia took the decision to invest in a modern 45,000 sq/ft Boston operation to accommodate the 5,000+ pallets of finished product storage.
This facility was opened Jan 2005 and embraces the latest technology including warehouse management system supported by wireless handheld technology.
Rhys Davies are Aimia’s exclusive distribution partner and as such the whole warehousing and distribution costs have been integrated to deliver a low cost supply chain solution to our customers.
Service Level Management
Aimia prides itself on the excellence of it’s customer service delivery. Working very closely with our customers we strive to understand their forward demand and place appropriate levels of stock in our warehousing to support agreed customer lead-times.
Utilising state of the art forecasting models and MRP modules within our Sanderson’s system we can offer detailed analysis of sales trends and service measurements by customer and SKU.
Our supply chain team can also offer direct interface with your inventory teams on a regular basis to ensure that a full understanding of your requirements is recognised and planned for within our business.

As part of Aimia’s commitment to improve quality standards and operational performances we have invested over £1.5m in our sites over the last eighteen months.

Aimia’s manufacturing, packing and warehousing procedures are fully documented in the company’s ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems Manual.
Aimia also conform to the requirements of the Global Standard for food Safety Issue 5 published by the British Retail Consortium.
